Wilton Expects Focus

The weather may have changed but the children are still working as hard as ever.

EYFS had their autumn walk and collected lots of leaves and we were amazed by the donations for the Harvest festival.

The Choir were warming up getting ready for next weeks festival at St Nicholas Church and with half-term round the corner they really want to put on a show for everyone.

The assembly theme this week was about the Harvest Festival and Showing Racism the Red Card and how important it is to be kind to one another and work together in Collaboration.

Next week in the run up to half-term we will look at co-operation and Compassion and learn about Bonfire Safety and who Guy Fawkes was.

EYFS Mrs Wardle Class Round up

Early Years have had lots of fun learning all about their birthdays and how we celebrate them.

Birthday parties have been taking place in our home corner and the tiger even came to tea! We have been using our phonics and mark making to write shopping lists, invitations and birthday cards.

As the weather has changed more autumnal, we have been exploring what happens outside in autumn and colour mixing to make autumn colours.

We collected some apples from our trees and made an apple crumble.

We have been on an autumn walk with our parents and then used what we collected to create an autumn tray and leaf pictures.

Breakfast Club

Did you know we do a breakfast club every morning? You can bring your child in, knowing they’ll get a good breakfast before they start school.

This is open to everyone and can be booked in the clubs section on the school gateway app.
