History

At Wilton Primary Academy, our History curriculum enables pupils to gain cumulatively built knowledge and deepen an understanding of Britain’s past and that of the wider world and its impact on modern society. It will support pupil’s ability to use critical thinking to formulate and refine questions and lines of enquiry using historical evidence from a range of sources. Our History curriculum develops pupils’ knowledge of their local area, fostering a sense of community, pride and appreciation of those communities which came before.
