We had a fantastic time at Peat Rigg. Every child overcame numerous fears/anxieties and pushed themselves further than they thought they could. As their teacher, I was super proud of them all and haven’t belly-laughed so much in years!

Did you know we do a breakfast club every morning? You can bring your child in, knowing they’ll get a good breakfast before they start school.
This is open to everyone and can be booked in the clubs section on the school gateway app.
It costs £1.20 for each morning your child attends.
Attendance every day is vital for your child’s progress unless they are too unwell to learn. It is your responsibility to inform the academy if your child is going to be absent by 9am each day of their absence. You can contact the office on 01642 453374.
66 Children reached 100% attendance this week which is fantastic. Can we make it 100% next week?
Our lunches are provided on a 3 week rota. Next weeks options will be Week 1
A reminder to all parents we are a Nut Free Academy, please read below.
We invite you to an event on 3rd October 2023 at Inspire2Learn, Normanby Road, Middlesbrough, TS6 9AE from 5pm until 6.30pm (please see enclosed leaflet for more information).
The aim of this event is to showcase the current offer available in your child/ren’s school and hear from you what your thoughts are on how this could be improved. We are also running sessions alongside this event for Primary and Secondary age children/young people, so please do bring along your child/young person to participate.
If you have any questions, or to book your place please email holly@redcarlink.com or follow this link https://forms.gle/L9zt5Focnvv7SGK8A
Golf Fore All are offering free sessions every Tuesday and Friday for anyone aged between 6-16 until the end of December.
If you’d like to book a session, just email the address at the bottom of the picture.
Please make sure that all items of clothing, including coats and packed lunch bags are clearly labelled with children’s names, so it is easy to find their owners.
All children have been provided with a t-shirt and shorts in a bag for PE lessons but they need to have their own trainers/plimsols in school please. Plimsols will be provided if needed. As the weather is changing, you may want to send in a tracksuit for children to wear outside during PE lessons.
