This week the children have been showing their hard work and Determination. We also paid our respects in assembly for Remembrance
Next week we’ll be looking at the children’s Independence
Early years have had an exciting few weeks that has included Halloween, bonfire night and Remembrance day. We have learnt about firework safety and made our own model rockets, fireworks with glitter and even edible sparklers! The children have been making poppy pictures for Remembrance day and can talk about why the poppy is an important symbol. Our new topic is people who help us. The children have helped turn the home corner into a hospital and and enjoying role playing doctors and nurses. We are looking forward to having lots of visits from people who help us in the coming weeks.
Our lunches are provided on a 3 week rota. Next weeks menus will be week 3. Please discuss this with your child to help them with their choices.
Please make sure that all items of clothing, including coats and packed lunch bags are clearly labelled with children’s names, so it is easy to find their owners.
All children have been provided with a t-shirt and shorts in a bag for PE lessons but they need to have their own trainers/plimsols in school please. Plimsols will be provided if needed. As the weather is changing, you may want to send in a tracksuit for children to wear outside during PE lessons.
PE Days are:
EYFS – Mrs Wardle – Tuesday
Y1/2 -Mrs Barron – Monday
Y3/4 – Miss Norton – Wednesday
Y5/6 – Mrs Harding – Wednesday

This weeks winners are Year 5 with 100% attendance.
