The Nursery and Reception children have settled back into school well and have been enjoying exploring the indoor and outdoor areas. This week the children have been learning about themselves and taking part in related activities. We have been looking at our faces and talking about emotions and how they make us feel.
Please see below, a copy of the Mellors School Meal Menus. The menus are offered on a 3-week rolling programme with our children having the choice from 3 main meals each day. Your child makes their choices for the following week on a Thursday.
If you wish to discuss meal choices with your child at home, it would be helpful if you do so before the Thursday of each week when they will fill in their meal orders. Please see the weekly timetable below:
Week Beginning | Menu |
Monday 13th September | Week 1 Menu |
Monday 20th September | Week 2 Menu |
Monday 27th September | Week 3 Menu |
Monday 4th October | Week 1 Menu |
Monday 11th October | Week 2 Menu |
Monday 18th October | Week 3 Menu |
Please see below the areas your child will be covering in the curriulum this year. Each topic has a key question that the children build their knowledge towards being able to answer.

Practicing times tables is so important in improving maths and is a huge part of number work from Y2 upwards. Please encourage your child to use their account to get as fast as they can which will help them be able to apply their knowledge to different areas of maths.
