This week we were delighted to be able to welcome our reception group back to the academy. Mrs Wardle has said how impressed she has been with the way they have all settled and worked as they adjusted to being back in a routine. Well done, we are so proud of each and everyone of them!

The home learning continued and will be available to collect from the academy each day this week. A huge shout out must go to Jack, Maggie and Dylan for their contributions this week. We love to see what those children who are at home are up to, so please continue to send photos in.

In Year 1, Mrs Barron has had a lovely week with the children. They have been working hard to use resources to support their maths learning which has helped them to understand number. They have also been getting creative, linking in their learning about Australia by producing some wonderful aboriginal art.

In the Year 6 bubble, they continued to work hard on their transition work, which will step up next week as they meet some of their new teachers either in person or virtually. This was their last official week in the academy and from now on will be supported with home learning until the end of term. Miss Bullock has been impressed with the way in which they have coped with all the changes this year.

In the Key Worker Bubble, the children have been working with Mrs Gainford. She has thoroughly enjoyed her week as have the children. The children have been creating their own 3D shapes.
